New exterior colors for the 1999 Tahoe lineup are Sunset Gold, Medium Charcoal Gray and Meadow Green. Medium Mystique Beige and the cargo net have been eliminated. The optional running boards now require the reclining high back bucket seats. Optional packages include the Cold Climate Package, Comfort & Security Package and the Heavy Duty Trailering Package. Other options include a limited slip differential, an engine oil cooler, and carpeted floor mats. Front air conditioning is standard on all 4-door models, but optional on the 2-door models. Rear air conditioning is an option available for the 4-door models.
